For anyone who is intrigued by the Marie Kondo method of tidying-up, but not on board with the "magic" and "life-changing" aspects, this book is probably a good fit for you if you're drawn to a more practical philosophy on why you should let go of the clutter. Swearing: there is lots of swearing however it’s only used where necessary and isn’t that noticeable as it works with the story line. Violence: bar a few classic school fights, there is no violence whatsoever!ĭrinking: the characters get very drunk on multiple occasions and we see the side effects of this but nothing bad is mentioned Characters do sleep together but that’s all it is - sleeping. Sex: there are multiple descriptive kisses and condoms and sex related items are mentioned but nothing too bad or inappropriate. condoms and sex, in depth kisses and getting drunk! There is frequent swearing, but not excessive and it flows very well with the story. ![]() I recommend it for ages 13+ as it discusses some adult themes e.g. In my opinion, Anna and the French Kiss is a very good book! It sounds like a similar setup to Class Trip, one of my favourite recaps so far, but with a blackmail/stalker main plot, which sounds fun! So many of the books I’ve recapped feature a character or two from this one, so it’ll be nice to actually see what they’re like. Suddenly all of her friends are involved, prisoners in a conspiracy of silence, trying to conceal the terrible truth. So what if their advisor can’t go on the overnight to Fear Island-Won’t it be more fun with no adults around?īut it’s no fun at all when Della gets lost in the woods, and the dangerous stranger appears, whispering threats, driving her to a violent act.
